CFC Reworks the Volkswagen Golf GTI

With a healthy helping of urban art styling, a ten-grand sound system, and modest power boost, this GTI demands respect. 

CFC, or Car Film Components, is a German outfit specializing in vinyl wraps and also occasionally offers complete tunes. Its latest project marks the second time the firm has tackled a VW Golf GTI and the results are pretty impressive.The standout feature on the hatchback's body is the comic-book wrap that adorns the passenger side front fender, GTI logos, fuel cap, and the inner section of the lower front grille. A matte grey vinyl wrap covers the majority of the body, while the roof and exterior mirror caps are finished in high gloss black carbon-fiber.

The car also gets a carbon-fiber body kit made up of a front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, and pink-tinted fog lamps. These supposedly match the pink 19-inch alloys, although clash pretty badly with the red variants.Tinted rear windows complete the exterior enhancements, while the only upgrade made to the interior is a top-of-the-line, 10,000-Euros audio system by MK SoundStyle.In terms of the performance, a high-performance braking system and lowered suspension with APX AP coilovers and H&R stabilizers has been fitted.An MR Car Design power kit upgrades the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine from 207hp and 207lb-ft of torque to 266hp and 295lb-ft. Sans the sound system, the tuning package will set interested parties back 12,900 Euros.
