More Photos of 2013 Kia Cee’d Revealed

Kia has released profile and rear shots of the next-generation Cee’d.
It hasn't taken long for Kia to release some more snaps of the second-generation Cee'd having revealed an initial photo of the all-new C-segment competitor just last week. The five-door hatchback can now be viewed from the side and rear, and we expect the next set of photos to be of the interior. The South Korean automaker has announced that the Cee'd will benefit from a 'driver orientated dashboard and refined interior, with a strong focus on quality of materials.'
The car has certainly matured and its upmarket styling is reflected by larger lights and a new signature grille that's nicely encompassed in chrome. The 2012 Geneva Motor Show is where the new-gen Cee'd will make its first public outing before going on sale in the summer. It's expected to be followed by the three-door Pro-Cee'd and the Cee'd Station Wagon.

Spied: 2013 Kia K9

The South Korean assault on the elite of the auto industry continues.
Only a few months after Kia shocked the industry with their GT Concept at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the South Korean automaker continues their aggressive strategy of scaring the elite of the industry. More specifically, Kia has deliberately set the German automakers in their target sites with the goal of taking on the likes of Audi, for example. Sound unrealistic? Only a few years ago they were largely written off as a serious competitor to Japanese brands. Today, their sales figures and exterior styling say otherwise.
And now some new spy shots show the automaker out testing their upcoming K9 large sedan. From what we can tell through the cammo, it takes a few styling cues from the GT Concept, but the latter will still be a separate model. The K9 is also being developed to go up against German sedans, albeit smaller ones. German automakers have clearly taken note of South Korea's rapid development; they're learning from the mistakes made by their Japanese counterparts in how they underestimated their Asian neighbors. Kia GT Arriving in 2013; More Variants Also Expected

Kia has big plans for the future of their upcoming GT halo car.
There's no doubt that Kia will be launching a production version of their GT concept first shown at the Frankfurt Auto Show last September. Over the past couple of days, sources within the South Korean automaker have confirmed to InsideLine that a production version will be coming to market in 2013. The idea is for the rear-wheel drive GT to be Kia's halo model as they attempt to improve their marketing position with the goal of taking on some of Europe's most established brands such as Audi.
In concept form, it was powered by a 3.3-liter 390hp turbocharged V6 and mated to an eight-speed automatic. Kia would like to present the GT as a cheaper alternative to those looking to buy a luxury car at a more modest price. In addition, Kia is considering two-door coupe and station wagon variants with the intention of creating a new model family. Without question, Kia's aggressive expansion plans couldn't have been possible without the talent of their chief designer, Peter Schreyer, whose past credits include the original Audi TT.Photos displayed are of the Kia GT concept.
