Jeep Conceives a Menacing Grand Cherokee Concept for “Name that Jeep”

Jeep is bringing their new Grand Cherokee concept to the Houston Auto Show and they want you to name it.
Jeep has just released a new concept model based on their Grand Cherokee. The unnamed Grand Cherokee Concept is set to debut at the Houston Auto Show in Texas and is part of the company's "Name My Ride Contest," giving Jeep fanatics the ability of determining the winning name on an online vote.The new concept, based on the four-wheel-drive configured Laredo X package with a very blacked-out appearance. It sits on a set of glossy black 20-inch lightweight aluminum wheels.
"Highlighted by a unique platinum-chrome front-end appearance and distinctive black-gloss 20-inch wheels and exterior treatments, our new Grand Cherokee concept provides a completely new look - one that is edgy and aggressive, and certainly different than any Grand Cherokee on the road today," said Mike Manley, President and CEO of Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC in a press release.The unnamed Grand Cherokee Concept made its debut today at the Houston Auto Show and will arrive tomorrow to the Washington Auto Show.

2012 Miss Limo UK Crowned by Limo Broker

Limo week continues with the crowning of Miss Limo UK.
Limo Broker, makers of the Audi R8 V10 limousine that we brought you photos and video of earlier this week, has just crowned the winner of their 2012 Miss Limo UK beauty pageant.Women from all over the UK sent in their profiles online and the winner was named on January 7th.With almost 1,500 applicants, Limo Broker sifted through the profiles from the "budding models" to find 21-year old Gemma Roberts, the 2012 winner.
The student from South Wales survived scrutiny from contest organizers and an online vote to be crowned champion.She was handed the title by current Miss Universe Great Britain and former Miss Wales Chloe-Beth Morgan.

SPEED TV to Give Away Custom 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 at Barrett-Jackson

The annual Scottsdale event kicks off this month , and one lucky fan will be driving away in a one-of-a-kind Ford Racing Champions 2011 Shelby GT500 Special Edition Mustang.
Over the past few years, SPEED TV has encouraged classic car fans to head to the Barrett-Jackson auction, tempting them with the Hagerty Fantasy Bid contest. This is where viewers compete to guess select vehicles' sale prices with prizes awarded to those who accumulate the most points.This time around SPEED have sweetened the deal by offering a customized 750hp 2011 Shelby GT500, which has been upgraded from 550hp courtesy of a Ford Racing supercharger system.
Ford's SVT team also equipped the GT500 with a high performance handling pack made up of Dynamic Suspensions adjustable shocks, front & rear anti-roll bars, and 1.25-inch lower springs. Wilwood brakes round out the package.2011 Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne and 2011 NASCAR Nationwide series champion Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. helped out on the car's build, and as such their autographs can be found on a plaque in the car.The Hagerty Fantasy Bid starts on 19 January and you can register via their site from the 13th.
