Exotic supercars roaring on the streets of Russia are always a welcome sight.

YouTube user AlexSmolik recently shot a video of a Porsche Carrera GT by Edo Competition cruising around the streets of Paris. The supercar boasts 770hp, up from its stock 612hp and sounds wild.

The Edo Competition Porsche Carrera GT is sporting Russian plates and apparently has been traveling around Europe for some time. [Video] The New Porsche Boxster S Roars Runs Like a Million Bucks, Costs $60K

Listen o the roar of the all-new 2013 Porsche Boxster.

Porsche has just released a new promo video for their all-new 2013 Boxster S. The roadster roars, combining power and performance with an extremely modest price tag for a luxury convertible.

The base 2013 Porsche Boxster runs on a 2.7-liter flat-six with 265hp while the Boxster S packs a 3.4-liter flat-six plant rated at 315hp. Both engines can be mated to either a standard six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed PDK. The standard Boxster will hit 60 mph in 5.4 seconds while the S will do the job in 4.7 seconds.The 2013 Porsche Boxster prices at $49,500, while the Boxster S starts at $60,900. With prices like those, affording a luxury roadster combined with sports car handling has never been easier. Both trims will be making their North American debut this week at the New York Auto Show.

Evo employ Fifth Gear host Tiff Needell to further fuel the rivalry between the GT-R and 911.

Evo magazine has recently taken two of the best GT cars on the market and pitted them against each other at the UK's Bedford Autodrome.Both models have been updated recently so it was deemed appropriate to get Tiff Needell of Fifth Gear fame to sort out a track battle.With 542hp, the new 2013 Nissan GT-R can sprint 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds and is blisteringly fast around the corners as well as the straight.
The new 991 Porsche 911 Carerra S now has 394hp, and its 0-62mph sprint time is a full two seconds slower than the GT-R. But, at 335kg lighter, it has every chance of getting round the track quicker than Godzilla. Check the video to see how they compare and which Tiff would prefer to have in his garage.

The field of Porsche 911 GT3 racecars are marking the opening of the 2012 season with a stunt of epic proportions.

The Estoril Circuit in Portugal is playing host to the opening race of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Brazil. The field of 48 911 GT3 racecars lined themselves up before the action kicked off, spelling out the brand name under perfect direction.

The video depicts the process of creating the terrific shot, as roughly 180 members of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Brazil team collaborated on the act and implementation of the stunt.The length of the formation measured 145 meters, shooting time took 23 hours and 48 cars were involved in the spelling of the name.

Vivid Racing Completes the Porsche 997.2 Turbo S Project

A good-looking styling kit by the US tuning specialist is finally complete.

Vivid Racing's primary goal with the project car was to fit as many Agency Power parts to it as possible, including new wheels and an interior piece.The exterior upgrade is complemented with four pieces of trim. First up, there's a NR Auto GT2 replica complete decklid, which replaces the stock lid and hydraulic wing. It boasts functioning side air scoops and a gourney wing like the GT2, which improves airflow to the intake box and the requisite downforce for the 540hp it produces.

GT2RS style side ducts sans the center splitter gives them a bigger look, which are further enhanced by a 2x2 weave that matches other carbon components.Up front, there's a set of Agency Power carbon-fiber mirrors in a high gloss finish and a subtle front lip spoiler. The same 2x2 weave wraps snuggly around the bumper and features an Agency Power badge.Inside, a new Agency Power steering wheel has been fitted with a semi-flat bottom and larger ergonomic grips, finished with perforated leather, alcantara and black laquer.Completing the package is a set of 19-inch 1-piece forged AP Split-5 monoblock alloys, finished in a gloss black powdercoat, which are available for other Porsche cars in a 19-inch fitment and custom colors.

Sportec Creates the SP 525 Based on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS4.0

Sportec is heading to Geneva with several new programs.

Sportec from Switzerland is doing a number of new programs set for the Geneva Motor Show. The Porsche 911 (997-Series) GT3 RS4.0 looks stunning in its new SP 525 moniker and packs plenty of power indicative of the Swiss company's work.The SP 525 puts out an appropriate 525hp and 354 lb-ft of torque from its 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine thanks to the addition of an Akrapovic exhaust system along with sports catalytic converters and a revamped ECU.
The changes add a total of 25hp and 15 lb-ft of torque.Sportec has also added an in-house built traction control system, lightweight carbon fiber hood and Bilstein shocks. Sitting on a set of 20-inch Mono/7 wheels wrapped in Michelin PS2 Cup tires, the SP 525 can sprint from 0-62mph in only 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 196mph. TechArt originally released a preview of their work on the all-new 2012 991 generation Porsche 911 towards the end of last month and the live shots taken at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show confirm the brilliance of their latest project.Available for both the Carrera and Carrera S models, the new program features a terrific body kit along with excellent black and yellow contrasting leather on the interior that would make even Wiz Khalifa blush.

The body kit for the 2012 Porsche 911 features a two-piece front spoiler with integrated splitter, a pair of aerodynamic wings integrated into the front air inlet vents, fixed rear spoiler, bespoke rear diffuser and a set of new side skirts. The headlights and side mirror panels receive trim panels and the rear receives a third brake light.The 991 Porsche 911 also gets a new exhaust system with valve control for an improved sound. It sits on a set of 20- or 21-inch light alloy wheels developed by TechArt. A set of even lighter Formula III wheels are optional, measuring fifteen percent less than the former.The interior consists of black leather and Alcantara wrapped in black with racing yellow contrast stitching. 2013 Porsche Boxster Makes its Live Debut

Porsche has once again set the benchmark for the ideal two-seat, mid-engined roadster. 

The third generation of Porsche's two-seat roadster is making its official live debut today at the Geneva Motor Show. Although the car was revealed online over a month ago, Porsche is using this year's show as the official launching pad for one of their most important models.Compared to the model it replaces, the new Boxster has a much cleaner, more streamlined design. It also looks more powerful and muscular, truly looking the part of an ideal two-seat mid-engined roadster.

In fact, some have even argued that the Boxster (and the upcoming redesigned Cayman) may even be a better alternative for some buyers to the 911, which costs nearly double.

Power will come from a choice of either a standard 2.7-liter flat-six with 265hp or the 3.4-liter flat six with 315hp in the Boxster S. Both engines can be mated to either a standard six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed PDK.The standard Boxster will hit 60 mph in 5.4 seconds while the S will do the job in 4.7 seconds. Pricing starts at a very reasonable $49,500 for the base model and $60,900 for the S.

Although it's no 911, the latter starts at $82,100 and can easily exceed the $100k marker once the options pile up. For some, the Boxster is a perfectly acceptable alternative for nearly half the price.

2012 Porsche Cayenne CLR 558 GT by Lumma Design

Lumma Design updates their tuning program for the 2012 Porsche Cayenne.

Lumma Design's latest project focused on the diesel Porsche Cayenne Turbo. The CLR 558 GT, as it is known, cranks up the power of its D-power engine and features an aerodynamic body kit.
The D-power performance block now packs a respectable 280hp vs. the base's 245hp. Torque has also been ratcheted-up from 405 lb-ft to 464 lb-ft, thanks to new electronics and a sure revamp of the Cayenne's ECU.
In terms of styling, the gloss black aerodynamic body kit features a new front bumper with larger air vents, a set of LED daytime running lights, front and rear spoilers, redesigned rear bumper with integrated diffusers, fender flares, tweaked suspension and a set of big 22-inch aluminum wheels.A typical Lumma Design interior has been put in place, complete with Alcantara and leather. A red leather package is also available along with carbon fiber package.
