New 2012 Ram 1500 Lone Star 10th Anniversary Edition for Texans Only

As one of the biggest pickup markets in the country, it’s no surprise that Ram has created a special edition exclusively for the Lone Star state. 

Chrysler Group's Ram division has introduced a new model of the Texas-only Lone Star edition to mark its 10th anniversary."The Ram 1500 Lone Star was the first pickup truck designed by Texans and built specifically for Texans. Native Texans are very proud to be from the Lone Star State. For the last 10 years, this truck has given us the authentic opportunity to proudly connect Ram with Texas' very proud state motto. It's by far our best-selling Ram truck in Texas," said Ram boss Fred Diaz.

Larger 'Lone Star' badges will adorn the 2012 Ram 1500 Lone Star 10th Anniversary edition, while the 'Ram 1500' badging on the truck has been replaced by the red, white and blue Texas state emblem, which appears on the front doors and tailgate. A new set of 20-inch alloys is also part of the special edition package.Exclusive interior features include Katzkin perforated leather sears complete with embossed Texas/Lone Star logos, and a 10th Anniversary emblem on the glove box. Power comes from a 5.7-liter V8 Hemi, which delivers 390hp and 407lb-ft of torque, and is mated to a 6-speed automatic. Fuel efficiency is rated at 20mpg.
The Lone Star 10th Anniversary edition will be available for order at Ram's Texas dealerships in the summer, and will be priced at $36,440.

Remember that ridiculously good-looking Romanian supermodel from the Fiat 500 Abarth Super Bowl commercial? Well she is back with the new Fiat 500 Abarth Venom. Catrinel Menghia approves of the powerful Fiat 500 and, well, we do too.

Sex sells, right? The Fiat 500 Abarth Venom video was shot earlier this month at a media event in Las Vegas, Nevada. It features a carbon fiber hood and side mirror housings along with a huge Abarth Scorpion graphic on the hood. It weighs in at 200lbs less than the stock version.The 1.4-liter turbocharged engine has been boosted up to 200hp. Originally rated at 160hp, a sport exhaust system and revamped ECU help the engine crank out an extra 25 percent of power.The Fiat 500 Abarth Venom features Magneti Marelli Parts and unfortunately isn't available in the U.S.

Seat UK Introduce Leon FR+ Supercopa Special Edition

Following the release of the high-spec FR+, SEAT is introducing yet another trim level exclusively for the UK. 

The VW Group's Spanish arm has introduced a hi-spec Leon FR+ Supercopa special edition, which offers a sportier look thanks to a Seat Sport designed body kit.Dubbed the Supercopa (Super Cup) after the one-make race series, the special edition's styling enhancements include restyled front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a more pronounced tailgate spoiler, bespoke BBS 18-inch alloys, 'Supercopa' badges, and chrome-tipped dual exhausts.

Exterior colors offered consist of Nevada White, Emocion Red and Speed Blue (featured in the pictures).All the extra features on the standard FR+ trim can be found on the Supercopa, such as SEAT's Media System 2.2 sat-nav complete with five-inch color touchscreen, dynamic root guidance, DAB radio, Bluetooth audio streaming and SD card slot. There's also Bluetooth phone connection, bi-xenon headlights with AFS and rear parking sensors.The Supercopa edition, like the FR+, is offered with the 168hp 2.0-liter TDI CR turbo diesel and 208hp 2.0-liter TSI gasoline engines.SEAT claims the Supercopa editions benefit from £3,000 worth of body kit extras for just £750 more than standard Leon FR+ models, which start at £22,530 on the road for the 2.0-liter TDI with six-speed manual.SEAT UK Head of Marketing, Chris Stevens, said of the new special editions: "This stunning car represents many of the very best elements of SEAT. Renault is keeping the special editions coming, with a Red Bull Racing RB7 Edition Clio RS.

Renault's long line of special edition models just got a bit longer with the Clio RS Red Bull Racing RB7 Edition. The sporty Clio RS features some solid power for a hatchback and some new looks.Starting under the hatch's hood, the RB7 Edition packs a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 200hp and 159lb-ft of torque.The Clio RS sprints to 62 mph from rest in 6.9 seconds and can reach a top-end speed of 140hp.
Red Bull Racing badges adorn the Clio RS RB7 Edition's exterior. Finished in Profound Black with yellow touches and a checkered decal on the roof, the RB7 looks pretty good on its 18-inch wheels wrapped in Bridgestone rubbers.For a true racing feel, the interior sports a pair of Recaro sport seats, R.S. monitor that displays performance-related data and a special edition numbered plaque.Pricing for the Red Bull Racing Renault Clio RS RB7 begins at €27,900 in France. It is also available in Austria, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland.

Wiesmann is giving their MF3 Roadster a farewell edition fit for Joseph.

Whoa, Dragons Man - Rolls-Royce Year of Edition EWB Arrives in Cali

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Year of the Dragon Edition EWB has arrived in California.

Last year, Rolls-Royce released a Phantom special edition in honor of the Year of the Dragon, celebrated in China. The Asia-only special edition featured some terrific badging and a slick crimson interior color complete with golden dragon emblems and stitching throughout the model.It won many admirers and now a Californian Rolls-Royce dealer has commissioned several EWB Ghosts built in the same style for a limited run out west.
Rusnak Rolls-Royce of Pasadena ordered these luxurious Ghost models in extended-wheel-base form and they look terrific with all the perks and accoutrements found in the Phantom.The Phantom Year of the Dragon Edition sold out in less than two months, so we expect these Ghosts to go even faster as only a few units will be made available.

A Pagani Huayra wrapped in clear carbon fiber. Does it get any better than this?

Yesterday we saw a preview of the Carbon Edition Huayra from Pagani and today it made its full debut. The gorgeous, handsome Huayra features a clear carbon coating on top of its 700hp and 738 lb-ft of torque AMG engine.
The Pagani Huayra Carbon Edition can sprint from 0-60mph in only 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 230mph. A lightweight carbon-titanium monocoque gives the Italian powerhouse a curb weight of under 3,000 lbs.

McLaren MP4-12C High Sport Gallery Released

Only five of these special edition McLarens will be built, and they’ve all been spoken for. 

Dubbed the High Sport, this special McLaren MP4-12C by McLaren Special Operations was first spotted in January but has now been officially revealed via these stunning images courtesy of Tomirri Photography, the official photographer for McLaren Special Operations.Only five of these special edition models will be produced, and all have already been spoken for. One will be going to McLaren executive chairman Ron Dennis and another to the crown prince of Bahrain.
Dramatic aerodynamic enhancements include a new front end and rear bumper, a modified wing, larger vents and diffuser, and a unique set of wheels.Performance has also been increased by boosting the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 by 75hp to 675hp.Photos courtesy of Tomirri Photography.

Limited Edition 2012 BMW M3 Coupe Competition Edition Arrives in Asia

450 units have been produced worldwide, eight of which have just landed in Singapore. 

Back in November BMW announced details of the special edition M3, built to commemorate the M Division's 40th anniversary.40 models were allocated to the US, and now BMW has announced that eight models will be made available to the local market in Asia.450 units of the limited-edition car are to be produced worldwide, coated in an exclusive BMW Individual Frozen Silver Metallic paint.

The exterior also includes black hood intakes, while the kidney grilles, BMW M side gills and exhaust tips are finished in dark chrome trim. For enhanced stability, the Competition Edition has been reduced by 10mm and the same 19-inch alloys found on the M3 GTS have been fitted.Inside, the front seats are finished in black extended Novillo leather with palladium silver accents and stitching, as are the headrests, door trim panels and handles and center console. The steering wheel is covered in Alacantara, the M3 Checkered Flag logo features on the door sills, and carbon-trim has been used on the dashboard and center console.
Power comes from the 4.0-liter V8 that produces 420hp, which is mated to an M DCT double-clutch transmission that enables the car to complete the century sprint in 4.6 seconds.
