The baby in the pack has been conceived as a racing car, and it looks just about ready to rip. Often cited as Ferrari's entry-level model, the Ferrari California was never built for racing in part due to its rather weighty folding hardtop roof. The competition-spec 458 Challenge also already does a great job at taking to the track, so there's really no need for another factory-spec race car. With this in mind or perhaps for other reasons entirely, Spanish product designer Arturo Arino has digitally rendered his interpretation of a California GT race car.Sporting a competition paint job, plenty of requisite carbon-fiber components, wide five-spoke alloys, huge Brembo brakes and some additional air intakes, the exterior is right on the money.Letting him down is the luxury road-going interior, featuring the buttery leather 2+2 layout. A racing interior would have been something to think about.Rendering: Ferrari California GT Race Car
