Bugatti has done it again, creating the fastest production open-top automobile in the world.
Bugatti has once again defined themselves as the 'Kings of Production Car Performance' with the Grand Sport Vitesse. The most powerful and fastest convertible in the world showed up to the Geneva Motor Show with a pair of paint schemes and looked every bit the part of an open-top supercar.
The Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse features a 7.9-liter W16 engine with four enlarged turbochargers. The monstrous output of 1,200hp and 1,106 lb-ft of torque allow the open-top French automobile to hit a staggering 255mph.
"We were instantly electrified by the idea of transferring the power of the Super Sport to the Grand Sport, which previously delivered a maximum of 1,001 hp, and thus taking the roadster to a new level," said Bugatti chief Wolfgang Durheimer. The Grand Sport Vitesse sits on a set of lightweight 20-inch bespoke wheels and features aerodynamic parts from the Super Sport.A new front spoiler, larger air intakes on the front-end and a double diffuser in the rear along with centrally-positioned dual tailpipes highlight the Grand Sport Vitesse's added attributes.
