Speculation is rife that the Italian supercar maker is planning a big surprise for the Geneva Motor Show.
There's no smoke without fire and if the rumors doing the rounds are to be given any credence two new models courtesy of Lamborghini will be gracing the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March.Given the Italian supercar manufacturer currently has a two model line-up, this is pretty big news, the source of which is a member of the Teamspeed forum who claims to have a contact that was given the news by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelman at the Detroit Auto Show.Considering what may be unveiled leads us to a couple of possibilities. A Gallardo replacement is unlikely but a concept previewing the future model can't be ruled out.An Aventador Roadster is apparently ready to go with inside sources claiming to have already seen pictures with the open-top variant set to feature a carbon-fiber retractable roof.Another possibility is a production version of the Sesto Elemento Concept. Back in September, Lamborghini announced a limited production run of twenty but there's been no sightings of confirmed prototypes. Finally, there's the chance that an all new model could be unveiled, something that's been rumored for a while now. Whatever Lamborghini have planned you can be sure to hear more about it in the near future as Geneva draws ever closer.
