Tata Technologies will be bringing their new EV concept to the 2012 Detroit Auto Show

Tata is about to debut their latest concept model, this time an EV, at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
Tata Group's U.S.-based offshoot Tata Technologies will be bringing their new EV concept to the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. The eMO, standing for electric mobility, was designed for the Michelin Design Challenge. The interior of the eMO has been designed relatively bare for extra space and storage. There is no opening at the back, so one would have to use the rear suicide doors to load anything.
According to Tata, this impressive little EV can return a 100-mile range and hit a top speed of 65mph.The Tata eMO isn't slated for production, however they say that were it to make dealerships it would price at $20,000. The Michelin Design Challenge runs during the course of the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
