In these unofficial renderings, we have a very clear idea as to what the 2013 Porsche Cayman will look like.
We've always been huge fans of the Porsche Cayman. As the hard top coupe version of the also excellent Boxster, many have argued that the Cayman is the ideal sports coupe in every way. With its mid-engine layout and flat-six engines and, when equipped with the automaker's PDK dual-clutch, it's won many awards, such as Motor Trend's best driver's car competition. And now that Porsche has just revealed their all-new 2013 Boxster, it was only a matter of time until someone produced a fairly accurate rendering of the upcoming Cayman.
We don't have an official debut date from Porsche just yet, but we suspect they'll display it for the first time at next September's Paris Motor Show.
But the big deal is this: the next-generation Cayman R is also in the works. And if it's anything like the current one, then we're looking at what could be the most serious threat to Porsche's own 911.
