A line up of champions will be piloting the latest challenger to enter the spectacular endurance event.
Nissan will be showcasing a couple of new models in Detroit, but it's in Dubai where they'll make the biggest impact.Designed to meet FIA-GT3 regulations, the JRM Racing sponsored version has been revealed ahead of the Dubai 24 Hours endurance race that runs from 12-14 January. Their latest GT3 variant of the GT-R tuned by Nissan's performance division Nismo will be piloted by a team of championship drivers, namely: Michael Krumm, Tom Kimber-Smith, Franck Mailleux, and Alex Buncombe. Powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 found in the road car, the Nismo GT3 race car achieves an output of well over 500hp and comes fitted with a Hewland six-speed sequential transmission with paddle shifters, a Sachs four-plate sintered clutch, Brembo brakes, Ohlins TTX suspension with adjustable blade anti-roll bars, and RAYS forged wheels.Several other Nissans will also be on the track including a Juke-R Concept to pace the event, and a Nissan 370Z piloted by GT Academy winner Bryan Heitkotter.
