A Japanese-spec Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R Replica was just sold on eBay for a fairly cheap price.
With five films and likely two more on the way, the Fast and Furious franchise has been a proven money maker over the years. Yes, the scripts and plots aren't what many would consider the most complex or thought-provoking, but that was never the intention. So let's face it: the cars have always been the true stars. And now one of those cars has just been sold on eBay. The R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R replica used in the fourth film just sold on on the auction website for $30,000. However, it wasn't an actual GT-R, but a cheaper 1998 Skyline GT-T model that was given some extra bodywork such as more pronounced front fender flares.
However, it's still a pretty cool and it had 66,875 miles on the odometer. Powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter straight-six with 280hp in stock mode, it's mated to a five-speed manual that sends power to the rear wheels. And to make it a bit more unique, it's still in Japanese-spec right-hand drive configuration, but comes with a California title. The final $30k price wasn't that bad at all considering the 'Buy it Now' price was listed at $39,999.
Although it's not a real Skyline GT-R, we're not surprised that it sold fairly quickly, which was obviously due to its celebrity. What we'd love to own, however, is the Toyota Supra used in the original film. So what was your favorite Fast and Furious film car?
