Rolls-Royce has their precious EV Concept back home after its epic world tour.
Following the completion of its global test program, the Rolls-Royce 102EX (Phantom Experimental Electric) has returned to the home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in England's West Sussex. The dual purpose of the world tour was to see how the EV concept would deal with different weather conditions across the globe, and to gauge the public's reaction to it. While the British brand conducts its market study which they expect to publish in the first quarter of 2012, we can enjoy these wonderful pictures of the car. From New York and Paris to Singapore and Beijing, the EV Concept powered its way around the world using its two electric motors and a single-speed transmission that combine to create 389hp and 590lb-ft of torque. Top speed stands at 99mph and it goes from standstill to 60mph in less than 8 seconds.
