We’ve got nothing against limousines per se, just those that make use want to vomit. From Toyota and Range Rover to Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Benz, stretched limousine conversions are apparently all the rage especially in the Middle East and South East Asia. With regards the latter, a UK-based company offering specialist conversions on various marques has undertaken a project without any consideration for car-lovers' feelings, stretching not one, but two S65 AMG models, adding a couple of extra doors and painting them in mint green and gold.
While their stretched Maybach, Rolls-Royce Phantoms and S-Class are sophisticated rides, we can't forgive them for mutilating the S65 AMG, nor can their Landcruiser Lexus and Range Rover monstrosities be ignored without giving them a firm rebuke.Vantagefield International are clearly the go-to-company when it comes to stretching cars, but we would urge them to implement a screening process and not simply adhere to the whims of any cash-rich overseas client demanding yet another ludicrous limousine.
