Audi isn't holding back in the development of some of their most popular models in the coming years. 
This has been in the works for some time and now it's almost here, as Audi  is promising that 2012 will be a big year for them. Why exactly?The  German automaker plans on launching some important new models that will  help carry them through for the rest of the decade.The next-generation  A3 hatch and all-new sedan that will debut some fresh exterior brand  styling will be making their way to market in the next few months. In addition, we'll also be seeing the  Allroad Quattro version of the new A6 Avant along with the electric  R8-based E-tron. But the biggest news will likely be the facelifted R8  supercar.
                              We know that Audi plans on giving the car an exterior nip/tuck, more  power, and a seven-speed dual-clutch later this coming year.  For those  looking ahead even further, we'll likely see an all-new R8 have its  debut in 2014. The 2014 R8 will probably have a new engine and increased  power. All of these projects are so important for Audi that they will  be investing some 13 billion Euros into them, along with new technology  and increased production all the way through 2016.
