BMW is getting ready for a busy Detroit Auto Show.
The North American International Auto Show serves as the stage on which most automakers display their latest wares and bid to outdo their competition. Word has come in that BMW is showing up at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show with two new models, the 2012 BMW ActiveHybrid 3 and an M6 convertible.BMW previously showed-off their twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 setup at the Frankfurt Auto Show earlier this year, sitting inside the M5. In addition to showing off the new M6 convertible and the 2012 ActiveHybrid 3 at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, BMW will also be presenting their new 3-Series, F10 M5, i3 EV and i8 plug-in hybrid concepts and making its North American premiere, the ActiveHybrid 5.The 2012 North American International Auto Show kicks off next month in January.
