The GTS will be going into production next year with the convertible variant to follow soon after.
First revealed at the beginning of the year, the ambitious Netherlands-based startup is progressing nicely with their striking Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS, a car that hopes to kick-start the four-door convertible supercar segment. As it edges ever closer to production, a wonderful promo video has been released featuring a concept prowling the millionaires' playground that is Monaco. The clip shows how future owners will make best use of their ultra-exclusive four-seater Gran Turismo. It's been confirmed that the Roadyacht GTS will debut at a major auto show in the Middle East some time in 2012, but for now Savage Rivale are working on the convertible roof system.
Book orders are open for the drop top variant and three customers have placed firm orders. One is for a special track-only 'GTR,' which will be lighter thanks to a host of carbon-fiber elements and feature a more powerful engine.Just 69 GTR models will be built and the first will be shown to customers this February. The road-going Roadyacht GTS will use a high-performance 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine from the Corvette Z06, producing 601hp and 553lb-ft of torque. A top speed of 205mph and 0-60mph sprint time of 3.4 seconds has been reported.
Savage Rivale plans to start deliveries in early 2013, and a new Nurburgring record for a four-door car will be attempted sometime next year using their uniquely-designed car.
