The Land Cruiser is coming to Detroit and is getting a facelift for 2013.
Toyota is giving the Land Cruiser a serious facelift for 2013. The Japanese automaker has hooked up the big off-roading SUV with some redesigned features and some high-tech gadgetry.The front-end of the Land Cruiser has received arguably the most changes, with LED daytime running lights along with a redesigned front grille and headlights featuring HID low-beams. The side mirrors and taillights have also been redesigned. The interior of the Land Cruiser has also been refreshed. Toyota has given the SUV more standard features, such as a heated steering wheel, Dynamic Cruise Control, flat-screen monitor/infotainment system and an upgraded instrument panel.Two color trims are available for the interior, which are Sandstone or Black. It sits on a set of 18-inch alloy wheels.Power for the 2013 Land Cruiser will come in the form of Toyota's 5.7-liter V8 engine. Paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, it can put out 381hp and 401 lb-ft of torque.The 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser will be making its debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show next week. Pricing information has yet to be released, however we should know more when the big SUV appears in Michigan.
