Nissan has released the official specs for their latest creation, the cross between a Juke and a GT-R.
Though we were skeptical at first, the Nissan Juke-R has become quite a thing in the automotive industry. The concept that combines the body of a Nissan Juke and the soul of a Nissan GT-R has made serious waves all over the internet with many different videos chronicling the build process of this unique model. At first, the Juke-R was a reader-enraging notion met with plenty of ridicule and skepticism. Who would have thought that a bland crossover packing a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 under the hood would turn up some excellent performance figures, such as a 0-62mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 160mph? Well, MechaGodzilla does this and looks great doing it, even if the bigwigs at Nissan don't agree.
For comparison's sake, the GT-R hits 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 193mph. The Juke sluggishly rumbles from start to 62mph in 8.6 seconds and can reach of top speed of 124mph.The Juke-R is heavier than the stock GT-R and less aerodynamic, while it is also lighter than the stock Juke due to its stripped out interior and GT-R underpinnings ie. its suspension.
